Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Keiro (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Sekaijin (“we,” “us,” “our”), the developer of Keiro.

2. Description of service

Keiro provides personalized insights based on numerology, Western astrology, and Chinese zodiac traditions, including:

  • Numerology calculations (Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge).
  • Zodiac sign analysis (Western and Chinese).
  • AI-powered personalized readings.
  • Compatibility analysis with saved “soul” connections.
  • Daily guidance and reflections.

3. User accounts

You may use certain features without an account. Cloud sync and additional features require sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, all activity under it, providing accurate information, and notifying us of unauthorized use.

You may delete your account at any time from the in-app Settings → Delete account flow, or via the deletion request form. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Keiro offers free features and paid tiers (Plus, Pro) plus consumable top-ups. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by the respective store; we do not process refunds directly.

5. Prohibited uses

  • Using the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App.
  • Interfering with or disrupting servers or networks.
  • Creating multiple accounts for abusive purposes.
  • Sharing your account credentials.
  • Harassing, abusing, or harming others.
  • Bypassing security features or access restrictions.
  • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by Sekaijin and protected by intellectual property laws. The Keiro name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Sekaijin. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of any personal data you provide.

Keiro is for entertainment and personal reflection only. Readings and insights are based on traditional belief systems.

The content does not constitute and should not be interpreted as:

  • Medical, health, or psychological advice.
  • Financial or investment advice.
  • Legal advice.
  • Professional counseling or therapy.
  • Relationship or marriage counseling.

If you are experiencing mental health issues, financial difficulties, legal problems, or relationship challenges, consult qualified professionals.

AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any readings or insights.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sekaijin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms in the App or on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

12. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Keiro from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply:

  • These Terms are between you and Sekaijin only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing claims by you or any third party relating to the App.
  • If a third party claims the App infringes intellectual property rights, Sekaijin (not Apple) is responsible.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
